L’ARSENALE DELLE IDEE.
TEATRO, FUTURISMO E MARINERIA ALLA SPEZIA
Jole Rosa opens March 19 celebrations for the founding of the Arsenal of the Navy and the March 21 anniversary to Futurist Spezia interpreting The view of the world Ettore Cozzani the Clock Tower and the dry docks, masterfully directed by one of the leading avant-garde theatrical Italian: Meme Perlini.
2009 is annus mirabilis to the memory of the city of La Spezia: intersect the anniversaries of 140 years of the inauguration of the Arsenal and the Navy 100 years Futurism. La Spezia has hosted a large group of artists and events in the second Futurism: Marinetti over all'Aereopoema fact, the Ligurian city is the birthplace of the poet, literary scholar Ettore Cozzani, founder of the Futurist magazine "L" Eroica "that had long-lived (until 1944). In the same year-1869 - which came to fruition in the construction of a military that has triggered the growth of the city, happened (in March, on the 28th to be exact) that a British naturalist, FWC Trafford, was the protagonist, on top of the mountain overlooking the Island Palmaria Castellana, a phenomenon that, anywhere you want to consider, was extraordinary: from the top is opened, in the embrace of the sea, the view of the world, with the silhouettes of the islands and continents. Hallucination? Maybe. It took him four years before deciding to write a proper scientific report. In 1931 Ettore Cozzani, romantic figure of the Futurist, the report translated in poetic narrative.
Nel primo caso è stato scelto lo spazio dell’andana between the small river-a sort of bridge between the masonry basins where ships are repaired once contenimento.-depleted water near the Main Gate. Here the show will be held at 17.30 of March 19, feast of the patron saint, St. Joseph's only day in which civilians can visit the city "hidden", the place where they are repaired and where they find temporary shelter ships military and training ship Amerigo Vespucci in the second case the show will take place in the clock tower of the Post Office building, designed in 1933 by Angiolo Mazzoni according to the dictates Futurist Manifesto of air and lined with mosaics and Fillia Prampolini having as its theme the terrestrial, marine, air and telegraph. L a performance is scheduled for the Notte Bianca on March 21, with entry by invitation . It is in both cases the face of a theatrical journey to the rediscovery of hidden areas of the city, but of unknown faces dripping with history and memory of a seaside town.
Meme Perlini, therefore, arrived at Spezia invited by the actress Rosa Jole, who played some of his pageants including Elagabulus (which also starred a young Tony Servillo), Jole Rosa, provocative muse Theatre Research Roman eighties and film, worked with Carmelo Bene (The Dinner of mockery), with Fellini (City of Women) and for some time, moved to La Spezia is engaged in a personal project to develop land in the Gulf of Poets and poetry inspired by trekking through original theatrical pictures related to marine environments .
The show:
It starts from the evocation of the sea by the pilgrim and Gulf view from Mount Hector Cozzani Castellana. The view gradually lost over the island Palmaria and growing like a dream vision extends to distant regions, up to Greenland and passing more and more sensitive data, comes to God in an upward movement synaesthetically metaphorically described with great pathos. David Marcesina played to the poster and postcard invite-a sense of the futurist movement immortalizing Jole Rosa in different poses of the face and body assembled.
The view of the world according to Beadle loses the connotation late romantic (mostly futuristic) of the text to become a machine vision "cinematic"-film. In both indoor and outdoor versions, and then come Jolene Rose ascend to heaven ferried by ropes, cranes, flying boats. The worldview of the Gulf and the Gulf of Spezia becomes a daydream, a surrealist painting or perhaps a physical-geographical reality as possible, as claimed by the scientist Trafford Cozzani which drew inspiration for his poem. Inside the Palazzo delle Poste Jole Rosa will dance together in an acrobatic and Mystic air-flight between the pictorial
